Developing character through a whole school approach
Dr Tony Eaude has been involved with Values-based Education for many years, was previously headteacher of a first school and is now based at the Department of Education, University of Oxford. Based on his research and experience, he sees character development as very important, but argues for a whole school-school approach based on cultivating values, beliefs and learning qualities, rather than a separate programme. Tony is available to speak at conferences or seminars and to lead staff meetings or offer consultancy to schools or other groups. His style is interactive, practical and accessible.
