Values Self-Assessment Survey

Values-bases School teach pupils how to reflect. It gives their brains the space to process what they learn, and to embed the learning into long-term memory

We have developed a free survey for schools to assess how well they engage with values. It measures success not by how well students can define values, but by the impact it has had on their behaviour, wellbeing, relationships, learning environment and academic attainment.

The survey will be available here shortly. Subscribe to any of our social media fees for notification of availability (top left hand corner of every page on this website).

There are two other more developed surveys available to schools to help them assess how well they engage with values:
  • National Philanthropy Capital : This free survey measures wellbeing. We will provide a link shortly.

  • Barratt Values Centre : The survey identifies the community's personal values, the values they experience in school, and those they wish to experience. Leaders can therefore compare the values they espouse with those experienced by different stakeholder groups. The cost of approximately £700 represents a 50% discount over the commercial rate. The survey must be administered by a trained consultant. The cost of approximately £700 represents a 50% discount on the commercial rate. The survey must be administered by a trained consultant.
